Our dojo hosts a variety of special seminars in the course of a typical year. Some seminars are limited to members of the dojo, while others are open to the general public. Depending on circumstances, there may or may not be registration fees, but spectators are usually welcome at no charge. March 16, 17 and 18, 2012: Ono-ha Itto Ryu Kenjutsu Sokaku-den winter intensive training with Uhler Sensei and Hashimoto Sensei. Training will be conducted on Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. This training is open only to members of the Itten Dojo and Mountain Winds Budo kenjutsukai, and specifically invited guests.

April 21 & 22, 2012: The Midwest Taikai for Tenshin-ryu and Yamate-ryu, hosted by the Three Rivers Budokai, Channahon, Illinois. A flier with detailed information is available here. This seminar is open to members of the ryu and those invited guests recommended by a senior member of the ryu.
