Tozando — Our #1 source for iaito, bokuto, and yumi, as well as keikogi for iaido and kyudo. We work with Stephen Tanner, the finest customer service representative you’re likely to find anywhere.

Fuji Mats — Our custom-designed, integrated mat system came from here.

Fuji Sports — We use their judogi for our Nihon Jujutsu program and judo study group.

Elite Sports — Their primary focus is BJJ. An excellent source for rash guards and training equipment.

Goto Kyuguten (Goto Archery Equipment Co., Ltd.) — Located in Sendai, Japan. They don’t ship internationally, but we know from personal experience that if you’re in Sendai these are the experts to see. The staff spent hours fitting us with gloves and arrows, and it was a wonderful experience.

Kannagara Inari Shrine — The best source in the U.S. for ceremonial items if your dojo has a traditional kamidana installed.

Kazoku Isan Dojo — This Isshinryu dojo is the linear descendent of the dojo I oversaw during the 1980s. Michael Sheffield Sensei is a superb technician and instructor and classes are offered for both children and adults.
